The MIDIbeats modification uses high quality, gold plated spring contacts to connect with your Volca Beats machine. Simply open up the case, remove a pair of screws, drop the MIDIbeats mod board in place and replace the two screws. Your Volca Beats machine is now equipped with MIDI Out functionality, allowing you to use the onboard sequncer to sequence any external MIDI equipment you choose. It also enables certain controls to be sent out via MIDI to record their movements or use them to modify parameters of other MIDI devices. In short, it transforms your Volca Beats from a self contained rhythm station to a powerful hardware sequencer, able to control and sequence any MIDI enabled sound source of your choosing!
